Rasa – A member of the Society of ‎Seminary Teachers of Qom considered International al-‎Quds Day ‎as a symbol of support for the oppressed and the struggle against the oppressors ‎of the world and emphasized the need for a passionate presence in these rallies.‎ ‎

RNA – Speaking at the nineteenth session of a series of discussions on Quranic commentary ‎‎‎that held at Qom’s Salmasi Mosque, Ayatollah Mohsen Faqihi ‎referred to the fact that the ‎Children of Israel always followed their sensual desires and said, “If their divine rules were in ‎their favour, these people would follow them but if their interests were jeopardized, they ‎would distort them.”‎
‎ ‎
The member of the Society of ‎Seminary Teachers of Qom‎ continued, “The Children of Israel ‎always harassed the divinely-sent prophets because they saw their statements as contrary to ‎their interests. This harassment sometimes continued until they killed the divinely-sent ‎prophets.”‎

He stated that the Jews have had an imperialistic spirit since the beginning and said, “Jews ‎regard themselves as a superior race. They are very arrogant and see themselves as ‎superior and greater than other human beings in the world.”‎
‎ ‎
Ayatollah Faqihi argued that the killing of prophets and the disavowal of the divine ‎messengers are a hallmark of the Jewish people and emphasized, “Jews were lovers of this ‎world and always established this world as the axis of their issues and affairs.”‎
‎ ‎
The teacher in the Islamic Seminary ‎stated that the divine prophets were always pioneers in ‎the guidance of the people and said, “The divine prophets stood up with their lives to ‎express the religious truths and divine precepts and didn’t falter in any manner to propagate ‎the commandments of God.”‎
‎ ‎
He further stated that some people think that only love for the Ahl al-Bayt will save them ‎from the fire of hell and said, “It’s not true that one would think that if he had the love for ‎the Infallible Imams in his heart that he will not be punished, even if he commits sins.”‎
‎ ‎
Ayatollah Faqihi pointed out, “The love for the Ahl al-Bayt is valuable when its prevents sin, ‎not when a person is drowning in sin and says that because I have had love for the Ahl al-‎Bayt ‎in my heart, I will be forgiven by God Almighty.”‎
‎ ‎
In conclusion, he referred to International al-Quds Day and described the marches held on ‎this day as a symbol of the support of the oppressed and the struggle against the ‎oppressors of the world and emphasized the necessity of the passionate presence of the ‎people in these marches as an example of help for the oppressed and said, “One of the wills ‎of the Commander of the Faithful [Imam Ali] was to protect the oppressed and fight the ‎oppressors. Therefore, on this day we must proclaim our support for the oppressed ‎Palestinian people and our disgust for the tyranny of the Zionist usurping regime.”‎
