"Islam is not a buffet: it’s a package deal.” It is not enough to simply pick and choose the parts of the religion which one finds convenient for oneself. For one who is intellectually convinced of the reality of the Quran and Ahlulbayt, all of Islam has to be embraced. Why does Allah give you so many promises? Why does He assure you of victory in this life and the hereafter if you take certain steps? Why does He guarantee you that if you take a leap of faith while acting on the principles of Islam, He will be there to catch you when you fall? … it is because He wants you to be your best.
