Hujjat al-Islam Ehtesham-Kashani:
A teacher in the Islamic Seminary described the month of Rajab as the month of supplication, forgiveness and attention to others and emphasized, “This month, we must pray for defence from tribulations, disasters and for the eradication of diseases.”

RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Ali Ehtesham-Kashani, a senior lecturer in the Islamic Seminary of the Qom, referred to the arrival of the month of Rajab and expressed the virtues and characteristics of this blessed month, said, “There is no doubt that the positions taken throughout the year occur in specific situations or in appropriate places to compensate for man’s deficiencies in religion and the sacred law.”

The teacher in the Islamic Seminary added, “One of the times that can be very effective in correcting thoughts, behaviour and ethics and in line with human development and perfection is the holy month of Rajab and then Sha’ban and Ramadhan. The beginning of these three months, which began with the month of Rajab, can be a means of the pouring down of divine mercy.”

Referring to the role of prayer and supplication in improving the conditions of society and eradicating suffering and diseases, Hujjat al-Islam Ehtesham-Kashani said, “When our great nation is facing a number of tribulations and tribulations, one of the best ways to fight diseases, problems and natural pests are attentiveness to God Almighty, forgiveness and the avoidance of sins.”

His Eminence said that the month of Rajab is the month of resorting, invocation and supplication to God and said, “In order to turn away from tribulations, the people must increase their attention to God Almighty because one of the issues that can best repel tribulations is supplication. Alongside supplication, we must not neglect giving alms in the path of God, paying attention to fasting and being present in the worship of God even as individuals.”

He added, “If medical experts are prohibiting us from attending places of worship during these days, collectively we must keep in mind that this is not incompatible with our individual presence and we must not deprive ourselves from this month’s capacities.”

Hujjat al-Islam Ehtesham-Kashani noted, “Everyone, especially the elites and experts of society, must turn the people’s attention to God Almighty and urge everyone to resort to God Almighty for the elimination of tribulations, especially this newly arrived disease [Coronavirus].”
